Don Lambert was awarded the Charles Taylor Master Mechanic Award. Since 1970, he has served in various maintenance and safety roles for companies like Airbus (then MBB and Eurocopter), Bell Helicopters, CJ Systems Aviation Group and Air Methods and Metro Aviation.
Half a century in the field more than qualifies Don for the award, which recognizes the lifetime accomplishments of senior mechanics. As the first aviation mechanic in powered flight, Charles Taylor is credited with designing and building the engine for the first successful aircraft. Read more here.
