The 2020 scholarship application season has concluded. PAMA is not currently accepting applications, but expects opportunities to be available in the spring of 2021.
PAMA provides scholarships and awards to aviation maintenance professionals. The application deadline for all scholarships is March 15. Recipients will be announced at the Aerospace Maintenance Competition awards ceremony, taking place in conjunction with MRO Americas on April 30, 2020.
Eligibility requirements are as follows unless otherwise indicated in specific award descriptions, below:

PAMA membership is not required, but will be considered by the review committee when selecting scholarship recipients.

Please note: relatives of PAMA directors are not eligible for scholarship awards.
- Legal U.S. residency
- Recent graduate (within six months), or enrollment in a Federal Aviation Administration part 147 school
Scholarship applications must include:
- A current or most recent transcript,
- Two letters of recommendation from an employer, educator and/or mentor
- A minimum 250-word essay on career ambitions
