2025 AWAM Scholarship Program: Now Accepting Applications!

The Association for Women in Aviation Maintenance (AWAM) is thrilled to announce the opening of the 2025 scholarship program!
 
Scholarship Season:

• Application Window: March 15th, 2025 - April 30th, 2025
• Winner Announcement: Early July
• Award Presentation: Sunday, September 28th, 2025 at the Inaugural AWAM Conference in Dallas, TX

This scholarship program aims to support and empower women in aviation maintenance by providing assistance for their education and training, testing, tool and workwear purchases. This year AWAM is awarding over $36,000 in tuition scholarships alone!

 Application Process:

• Visit www.awam.org/scholarships to view the scholarship flyer and online application
• A separate application must be filled out for each scholarship. The limit is four applications per person
• Documents must be submitted as one combined pdf file
• Minimum document requirements are:
  • Resume
  • Essay - 250 words on your interest in aviation
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • School transcripts, copy of A&P certificate, or statement of industry involvement, as appropriate
• Some scholarships have additional essay requirements.
