  John Goglia


John Goglia was the first and only Airframe and Powerplant mechanic to receive a presidential appointment to the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), serving from August 1995 to June 2004.  He played a key role in focusing international attention on the increasing significance of aircraft maintenance in aviation accidents.  

With more than 40 years experience in the aviation industry, Goglia is a featured speaker at national aviation symposiums and well read through his “Toqured” articles AIN, Aviation International News and other publications.

Roger Sickler


Roger's aviation maintenance career spans over 50 years beginning with General Electric as A&P mechanic and working with airlines and MROs in various staff positions and ownership of a FAA 145 repair station and an aviation parts stocker company for 20 years. Along the way I was the one of the founding directors for the Aviation Suppliers Association and President of the DFW Chapter of PAMA and Presently Chairman of PAMA National. I now enjoy serving my community as a Prison Minister, a Euless Parks and Recreation Board member, Member of the Tarrant County College Scholarship Selection Committee and several other community and religious organizations.

Clark Gordon

Clark joined PAMA in 1992 through the Teterboro Chapter and has served the PA-MA National Board of Directors as the Eastern Regional Director, Director, and Vice Chairman. Gordon was PAMA Chairman from 2006 to 2010. A graduate of Spartan College of Aeronautics, Clark has work in the aviation industry for 33 years. Gordon is the Director of Sales for Pro Star Aviation, a MRO based in Manchester, NH. Born and raised in Texas, Clark now resides in the Northeast with his wife and three children. Gordon also volunteers his time as vice president of his local Little League board in New Jersey. “I will continue to maintain our core values improve the recognition, education, certification and career advancement of the Aviation Maintenance Professional.”


Byron Heidorn

Byron’s has 40+ years’ corporate, service center, repair station and air carrier maintenance on DC9, G IV, Falcon, Hawker, Beech Jet, Westwind, Citation Series, Sovereign, Sabre, turboprops and piston-powered aircraft. He has been a pilot, mechanic, inspector and instructor AND managed technicians, inspectors, shops, de-partments and three facilities. He has been an FAA Designated Mechanic Examiner, Accident Prevention Counselor, and is an FAA FAASTeam member. He helped design and Implement a new $6M FBO and maintenance facility in Bloom-ington, Ill. where he shared the G. M. duties, and was voted the 2014 FAASTeam Member of the year for the Great lakes Region.  He is an active FEMA Citizens Emergency Response Team (CERT) member, and works in local disaster relief.

Sal is the Maintenance Manager and Crew Chief at Jet Aviation in Teterboro, NJ. Prior to that he was the Manager of Aviation Maintenance for AT&T Aviation Division. Along with being a PAMA board member he has served on several O.E.M. Customer Advisory Boards and the FlightSafety Customer Advisory Board for Dassault Aircraft.

   Mike Clune

Mike is a 17-year veteran of Dallas Airmotive, and currently works as one of our Technical Sales Directors. He is an A&P technician and has over 42 years of military and aviation maintenance experience. Mike has worked with PAMA for the last 20 years, most recently as the vice president of the Coastal Chapter in Savannah, Georgia. In fact, it was the Coastal Chapter that nominated him to serve on the board in 2014.

Bill has over 35 years of aircraft maintenance and modification experience. He holds a A&P License with Inspection Authorization .  

Bill’s was the Manager of Aircraft Maintenance and Modification & Quality Manager for Raytheon Flight Test for 34 years. His experience included responsibility of maintenance and certification of hybrid modifications outside normal type certification of corporate and transport category aircraft. He was also responsible for multiple FAA Repair Station Stations that were FAA, DCMA and AS9100 certificated.

Bill was the President of the Professional Aviation Maintenance Association from 1986 to 1990, he also served in many other PAMA Board of Directors positions. He also was the Western regional Representative from 1979 through 1986 when he was responsible for establishing multiple PAMA Chapters on the West Coast. During his time on the National Board he held the position as Convention Chairmen multiple times, for the following locations Anahiem, CA, Nashville TN, Los Angeles, CA. He is currently the Vice President of the SoCal Chapter of PAMA.

John is an aviation maintenance professional holding an A&P Mechanic License with an Inspectors Authorization with a background spanning over 35 years in the aviation industry. Experience includes many different large corporate aircraft, both fix wing and rotor wing. He is an active member of the aviation community including a FAASTeam Member in the Philadelphia FSDO Office promoting training and professionalism in aviation maintenance.

Currently working for Jet Aviation Flight Services in New Castle, Delaware as a Maintenance Manager on a Falcon 900LX, John has been involved in the Delaware PAMA Chapter for 26 years and is currently the Chapter President.  John has also been a PAMA National board member for 3 years.
